Helping your family to have a better life means something different to everyone.
1991 was a pivotal year for me.
- In February my husband had a heart attack and at age 41 almost died in the emergency room.
- In April I lost my 60 hour a week management position when the business was sold.
- In August my special needs son began 9th grade at a public junior high school after 9 years in a Christian day school.
1993 was a pivotal year for me.
- In February I became a Tupperware Manager and named my team "Heartfelt Expectations."
So what happened in the year between?
I found Tupperware and began to make a better life for my family. I had been offered a job as a sales rep for a publisher. I would be on the road 3 our of 5 days to the Northeast part of the United States. Much as the idea of traveling appealed to me, I couldn't see leaving my husband that much when I had almost lost him. My son needed me at home, too, especially in the after school hours. I needed a job with flexibility, and Tupperware gave me that. You can see where the "Heart" part of my team name came from.
The rest? The "Expectations"? I believed that through integrity and dedication I could build a tema with character and ideals. In so doing "Heartfelt Expectations" has become the team that "Builds the Stars of Tomorrow," and I have been able to mentor others who wanted better things for their families.
- One consultant from the Heartfelt Expectations was able to give up her 6 day a week, 12 hour a day daycare business and replace that income wiht Tupperware. She is now a Legacy Executive Director.
- Another used her creative style to build a team and achieved Director status. Although she stepped back from that position, she now is a school principal while continuing to work her Tupperware business.
- And a third stepped out on her own to become a recruiting powerhouse. She's a wife and mom, and a Charter Director. She is always happy to tell what Tupperware has done for her family. The Tupperware world knows her as Apryl Jammer of Team Rock 'n Sell.
I'd like to tell you about one more family I have been able to help. The high school my husband and 2 of our children attended is frequently referred to as the Michigan Lutheran Seminary family. Because of Tupperware's flexibility, I was able to accept a position with their non-profit Foundation at a pay scale that saves them money. And because of the residual income I receive from Tupperware I am able to make a monthly donation to that same Foundation's long term endowment. I love to help my family.
