In 1980, after the birth of our son, Evan, I decided to leave my career as an Environmental Scientist and start a Tupperware business, part-time for extra money.  Quickly, I realized the potential of a home based business, and when expecting our daughter, Corinne, I promoted to manager and qualified for the first of my many company vehicles.

Imagine, no car payments and no car insurance!  Just one of the many perks I've experienced in Tupperware.  Working with a team, helping others succeed, led Charlie and me to the decision to become Tupperware distributors.  Charlie resigned his job as a Research Biologist and we began our first company in Columbia, SC.

Working together, we had the opportunity to help others achieve success and see our efforts focused on like goals for our family.  After growing our sales organization and business in SC for several years, we took a leap of faith and relocated to Charlotte, NC, where we established our second company, Hooray! Sales.  In 2011 we'll celebrate our 17th Anniversary in the area, and have taken great pride in having so many of our team members excel at the highest levels in Tupperware's sales force.

As Charlie and I shared in a recent issue of our Tupperware Today magazine,  "Our job is to build dreams—to help others discover what lies inside them and then to guide them to be all that is possible. It starts with believing in others; in seeing the potential in them, many times before they see if in themselves. We create the vision, and we help them to see themselves in the picture. Then, we take them by the hand, let them know that we are here to guide them, to support them, and more importantly to teach and empower them to be what they are capable of being".  We'd love to help YOU make your dreams come true!

Working with family is very exciting!  In the May, 2008 issue of Tupperware Today, Corinne and I were featured on the cover and as the lead story on Mothers and Daughters in Tupperware.  In the article, Corinne shared how blessed she felt growing up in a "Tupper-Home" and said, "I want my child to grow up with the same kind of life I had growing up in Tupperware!"

Today, she is living that dream, having a successful Tupperware business that works around her family and 2 daughters, Layla and Kestyn!

The Hooray! Sales Organization has ranked consistently among the Top 10 in the nation and even in the world for the last 15 years!  We enjoy being able to help others build successful businesses as well as be a contributing member of the community, supporting several area charities including The Family Center in Charlotte, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and Toys for Tots.
